Last weekend we went camping at Swain's Lock. There's a darling little lock house that sits next to the lock and in between the canal and the Potomac there's a campground.
We went with some friends and had a blast, minus the couple hundred mosquito bites we received. Yes, between the six of us there were that many.
Our site was right next to the river and we had a lovely view of the sunset. Later that night there was a blue moon that was so bright it kept us up at night. We are having so much fun living in this beautiful place!
