So my husband has a feminine side...

Tyler made cookies last Sunday for the families he home teaches...all by himself! The only thing he asked me was what "cream butter and sugar" meant. He'd never made cookies before in his life and they turned out pretty stinking good! I was highly impressed.

Later in the week he put together this creation...impressive, I know.

So basically my husband is awesome!

Arches and Goblin Valley

Tyler and I had a blast camping and site seeing in Moab with our dancing buddies Parker and Laci. Here we are driving away. Thanks to my parents for letting us drive their Burb and providing us with treats. I have the best parents ever!

First stop...Goblin Valley:

Then we went on a hike through a beautiful slot canyon.

We are pretty hard core campers seeing as we slept in the back of the Suburban. Unfortunately we are lame and only got one picture of our amazing camping skills. Tasty tin foil dinners!

Our next stop was Arches National Park...absolutely fabulous.

When we got back to Salt Lake we cleaned up and all went out to dinner. Can you tell that I had food in my mouth and was worried to smile to big?

First Anniversary

I can't believe that Tyler and I have already been married for one year. You often hear that the first year of marriage is the hardest but I would have to disagree. This past year has been the best year of my life! Marriage is a blast and Tyler and I have had so much fun getting to know each other and have had so many adventures.
I look forward to many more years together.
I love you Ty!

Our Lucky Day

Over the winter break our camera started acting really weird, it would shake when we turned it on and take pictures of itself. Ty took it into Inkleys to get it fixed and guess what...we had made it in the day before our warranty expired! We were definitely happy about that one. We've got our camera back & she works like a charm, but this is why the next couple posts aren't picture perfect.

New Niece!

Tyler and I are so lucky to have such darling nieces and nephews. We got to meet this little one on Monday. Unfortunately I didn't hold her because I was sick (can you tell ;P) but Tyler did and he sure is a great uncle!
