Chillin' with the Children

Wednesday afternoon we had fun playing with the kids at the school in Salcantay. That night there was a Father's Day performance so the children were practicing their dancing. We went and danced with them and had lots of fun.Adorable Delia (our favorite) and Yefferson practicing their dance. When I was trying to take a picture of Delia and Yefferson, cute Louis Miguel jumped right in front of the camera!
Once you start spinning these kids you're in big trouble because they never want to stop!David, Hannah and Richard being tackled by children. The kids love hanging all over the interns.

BBQ Sauce

Tyler and I went on a hunt for BBQ sauce and were fortunate enough to find some. We sure are grateful for a little taste of home. I was so excited to smell that delicious smell that I got it all over my face!

Bubbles!

The kids up in Salcantay sure love bubbles! We pulled some out and taught them how to blow bubbles. I helped Ronaldo and he was just blowing them like a champ!Darling Ronaldo

A Room With a View (Mom's Favorite Movie)

Despite our bedroom being pretty darn cold the view from our front door is not to shabby. Our next door neighbors consist of sheep and llamas, fortunately they don't keep us up at night.

Teaching Division

Sylvia's class (5th and 6th grade) is starting to learn division. We helped teach them using the peg boards we had brought from the states. The kids love using them and they are a great teaching tool.

The Death of Falco (Viewer Discretion Advised)

Don't worry, Tyler didn't really kill Falco, he escaped (again!) and we had to chase him down and rope him up.; but Tyler wasn't too put out about having to "yank his chain."

Philippians 3:2 Beware of dogs; Beware of evil workers.

I know these dogs may look sweet and innocent......but they were conceived and brought forth from the very bowels of hell.
